Ternio & Gilded Are Breaking Down Crypto Barriers
Ternio has partnered with Gilded to allow users to get paid easily in crypto, then spend seamlessly with BlockCard
For companies wanting to operate in crypto, there is still an inevitable bottleneck: eventually, the company will need to make a purchase from a merchant that only accepts fiat currency. At this point, the company has to exchange its crypto. This process incurs fees and sluggish transaction times, eating into profits and hobbling operations, both of which are at odds with the speed and economy of cryptocurrency payments.
A BETTER WAY
Now, Gilded and Ternio are offering companies a better way to operate in crypto, eliminating the hurdles inherent to moving from crypto to fiat and offering a simple and seamless way to keep business operations running on blockchain.
Ternio has partnered with Gilded to give users a more seamless crypto experience. Gilded’s platform allows blockchain companies to get paid in crypto, and Ternio gives those funds immediate spending power without the need for slow withdrawals or expensive exchange rates. Effectively, businesses that choose to operate in crypto can stay in crypto and, when they need to make purchases, use BlockCard to spend their funds at over 61 million merchants worldwide.
HOW IT WORKS
Currently, Gilded users can invoice and accept payments in Bitcoin and Ethereum, as well as many major stablecoins: DAI, PAX, USDC, and USDT. Now users can receive those payments directly to their BlockCard account, which will instantly enable those assets with spending power, with no deposit or transaction fees. The BlockCard debit card can then be used anywhere major credit cards are accepted.
WAIT, THERE’S MORE: pay and get paid with TERN
In addition to this exciting solution, the Gilded platform now supports the ERC-20 TERN token. Now businesses and freelancers can both pay and be paid in TERN, adding another layer of utility to the recently minted coins.
A COMMON GOAL
“Ternio and Gilded share the vision of empowering companies to be their own bank, and this partnership is an extension of our goal to give crypto and digital payments real-world utility. Our platforms are a natural fit and we’re looking forward to future collaboration,” said Ian Kane, COO of Ternio.
“We’re on a mission to make crypto easy and accessible for businesses,” said Gil Hildebrand, CEO of Gilded. “Gilded is proud to partner with Ternio to offer critical tools that support the trajectory towards mass adoption.”
